Great warm welcome, while waiting for our takeaway sandwich,(to have on the train)we chatted to the owner and staff who were all lovely. Our ham and cheese ciabatta was delicious, we also had a slice of lemon cake which was equally delicious will definitely be back when we visit Whitstable again
Prompt service, amazing food and drink in a lovely spot which was toddler and dog friendly. Felt very well looked after and was nice to chat with the owner about local places to visit while in the area. A must visit if you are in Whitstable.
Was having a bad day when I went in, and the owner Clive really cheered me up. The nicest man ever. All of the staff were lovely. The carrot cake & coffee cake are especially delicious. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much.
We visited a few weekends ago and will definately make it a staple on our next visit. Clive the owner was so friendly and clearly made for hosting. The food was fantastic, super fresh and big portions. The outdoor seating area was gorgeous on a sunny day. The whole place is spotless.
Went here for the first time today, the staff are very friendly and the food tasted amazing. You get good portion sizes and the prices are very good. I will definitely be returning
The Kitchen @ Whitstable is a gorgeous little cafe right in the centre of a beautiful town. The food is simply sublime, we both went for the best bacon butty and it didn't disappoint. The server gave us a choice of white or brown bread alongside sauce. The bacon was crispy and cooked to perfection. There was lots more bacon in the butty than expected. My partner purchased a Cappuccino and I had a Latte, the coffee was very tasty and was a great temperature on arrival. We also shared a slice of victoria sponge cake, the cake was simply fantastic. Soft, moist and freshly baked. The jam and buttercream inside were fresh and tasty. The server was very attentive and friendly, with fast and efficient service. The cafe itself is small but has plenty of tables with good spacing between them so you don't feel cramped. We loved the side wall where you can sign your name. Such a lovely touch. The Kitchen is well worth the visit and we'll definitely be returning.
Came here with my Nan and we had a lovely lunch here. The service was incredible and the food was delicious, would definitely rate their iced coffee 5 stars! Will definitely be a returning customer!
Bacon butties all round, 1 gluten free. Perfectly cooked bacon and lots of it! Great coffee (as confirmed by veteran coffee drinkers). Great chat with the owner and he very kindly gave me a vegan Gf flapjack which was, without doubt, the best flapjack I've eaten! And you can write on the wall. Highly recommended.
